Oh Rise and Shout!

I just wanted everybody to know, especially the U** fans (and yes, Josh, I copied that from the one and only you), that the BYU cougars are doing amazing this year in basketball. They're have a amazing 9-2 record. and have only lost to the number one team in the entire nation. The cougars showed they had the potential to become NUMBER ONE as they barely lost the NC Tarheels. The other team they lost to was also in the top ten and it was a close one. They also proved that they can beat a top ten team against the No. 6 Louisville. It is obvious that the cougars will go far.

As the conference goes, no other team stands a chance against BYU. Although many of the teams' records are close to the same, the teams they lost to were not in the top ten, or even the top 25 unlike BYU. The Cougars have had three of the eight players as the player of the week for the MWC. Anyways, if that was boring to any of you reading or agravating to you U** fans, sorry about that. Just trying to make my point-'Tis the Season!

Monday Humor: The embarrassing story edition

I've decided to share my most embarrasing story. Because firstly, why not, and second, I am desperate to write a Monday Humor with little time to think at the last hour of the day. So...enjoy.

One day, I lived in the third grade. I guess I thought I was pretty cool then (not that I don't think that sometimes now). So I was into magic tricks at the time and I wanted to amaze my buddies with my very own special trick. During class, after thinking of ways to make my tiny, tiny wad of paper disappear, I finally had it. I raised my hand just passed my head, snapped my fingers and wah lah. It was gone. But what my dumb-founded spectactors wouldn't know when I showed it to them is that the tiny wad of paper was in my ear... So after my first practice of this trick I put my hand back in my ear to pull it out but it wouldn't budge. It was stuck! My fat little finger could not pull it out. I immediately told my teacher and for some reason, the school wasn't allowed to pull it out. So in the end, my dad had to grab some tweezers, come to school and pull it out. The end.

So point and laugh if you really want to, but I would be careful. Under my shirt lies a mean 10-pack along with arms the size of goliath...

Monday Humor: Because Garfield also hates Mondays

I've decided to put on one of the best pranks I've ever heard of (and take in mind that I saw this on tv, and it really has been done).

Picture this. You're in your early twenties and you are taking a girl on a date to a baseball game. You've taken her on a few dates before, but it still hasn't been very long since the first one. Now this is the story. Your friend has decided do a prank on you. You don't know anything about this. He sets up a marriage proposal, from you to your date that is going to pop up on the scoreboard for thousands to see... When it does pop up, everyone looks at you and your date jumps for joy like crazy. You are totally confused, and not wanting to marry your date, you try to explain to her that you are not really marrying her. The crowd is still watching as she slaps you in the face and leaves you behind, all alone in the dust... A very sad, but classic prank.

The beggining has halted!

I really want to write something extrodinary that will take any of my readers off their feet (I have more than one reader, yea!). But I haven't been able to think of anything this week. Maybe I'll think of something, hopefully sometime soon, but in the meantime, comment about anything that you would think would be great for me to write!

Monday Humor: Because everyone hates a Monday

I've decided to do a weekly thing, just in case I have nothing else to write for my fellow reader(s). Although, I'm not going to be able to write a whole lot today because I really need to work on my huge stack of homework. Sorry if it's not a whole lot.

-I saw an advertisement for a shirt that said in big type: 667. Under it, it said, "Evil and Some"

-ok, maybe this is more creepy than funny but I got to write something else. Last week I was doing Christmas shopping with my mom at Wall Mart. We were looking at some shirts while at the same time this old lady in a wheel chair was looking at a few herself. She pulled out a shirt from the one of the shelves that had three of the creepiest skulls on it that I had ever seen and looked at me and said, "Isn't this a cool shirt?" I kind of half-laughed thinking she was joking. But then she started talking to my mom about skulls and how she really loved them... I will never figure out what in the world was wrong with that creepy old lady.

On a more positive/serious note...

First off, I just have to say Josh; that comment was awesome! Man, it made my day (hopefully, though, you're not the only one reading my blogs or that just makes me one sad little person).

Anyways, I've decided to be a little more positive/serious, and do a top ten for me. This time I'm going to try to be a little more exact on my rankings, though, with reasons or thoughts for each one.

10. A couple of great card games: mostly non-facecard games for those of you that are pretty serious about that.

9. Tough, manly, wrestling: Go Viemont, even though I quit wrestling.

8. Delicious food: especially chinese

7. Tennis: Only since recently; I stopped playing a while ago, then I got back into it.

6. Basketball: I'll still love it even though I didn't make the Viewmont team :(

5. Oldies and rock music: And no, I'm not choosing a favorite band; it would just be too hard.

4. Cute girls: whenever I get the chance :)

3. The Mighty BYU COUGARS: Seriously, I wouldn't be a true fan if I didn't put it at least this high on my list.

2. Snowboarding: Although, it wouldn't be this high on my list if it wasn't this time of year

1. The gospel: For obvious reasons

The top 10 things to get rid of

10. Fat policemen (really, are going to help us?)

9. "garbage" (and with that I mean school lunch)

8. Synchronized Swimming

7. Music groups with good guitar music with emo/crappy singers

6. My choir teacher Mrs. Mcguire(take note that the beggining of her name starts the same way as Mrs. Mcdaniel)

5. People who love BYU and Utah equally

4. I'm going to have to leave this whole space for Mason from my school who is a sicko and a potty mouth

3. Christmas music before December, especially thanksgiving

2. Most rap...and yes, matt, soulja boy is included as most rap

1. Michael Jackson (not Jackson 5)

If you think otherwise or think there is something I missed please tell me, but so far, I think I nailed this one on the head.

The new blog

Hey, this is Sean along with my new blog. First, I got to say thanks to Josh, who was the one that made me want to start a blog. So far I haven't written anything, but I got some ideas. Feel free to post anything you want.
