The Best Ideas Are Stolen

If you have not read Josh's blog yet, read his first. It'll make more sense.

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, if we’ve actually met in person or not, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

Update: Up's and Down's

It's been a while since I've done an update. In fact I don't even remember if I have ever done one before. So mine as well start now and tell you what's going on in the life of Sean.

Up's
  • BYU Football- Next season, the cougars are going to be ranked number 14. It's going to be a great year. We have 10 returning starters on our offense. Ten! Last year we were the MWC champs with a 11-2 run. This year I can see the Cougars as the best in the conference once again, and perhaps as an undefeated team.
  • Lifeguarding- It's a great job and I'm getting quite a bit of money from it. Most of the people that work there are awesome and it's quite a fun job.
  • Wimbledon- For tennis, it's the tournaments of tournaments. Tennis may not seem like a very fun sport to watch, but trust me. If you're a tennis player, the next couple of weeks are going to be awesome.

Down's

  • Trek- For about three days, I'm going to be pulling handcarts day in and day out. It's probably going to suck. Ok, maybe I'm overexagerating. It'll probably be a great experience after it's all over. But until then, it's going to be pretty dificult.
  • Future Lifeguarding- So far my job has been great. But sitting up on chairs for several hours a day is finally starting to become very annoying. I do need money, but it would be great if I wasn't sitting up in front of the hot sun melting away with boredom.

So overall, summer's been great. I'm kind of anxious though. A month has past away already and this is basically my second to last summer vacation. After high school I'll probably be working almost full time and hardly having time to do anything. Maybe it won't be too bad. But either way, I hope I make this summer a great one.

One Heck of a Miracle

Last Friday, I was lifeguarding at the pool and was just about finished for the day. One thing that I still had to do was to collect all of the basketballs floating around in the pool. Well, this particular job just sucks because if the basketball aren't close enough to the edge, you have jump into the cold pool, and get out without having a towel to dry yourself. So anyways, that night, the ball was so close and I was sick of being lazy, waiting for it to come to my reach. So I jumped in and got it. Unfortunately, like Jordan, I forgot that I had my phone with me. But it was in my zipped up bag so I didn't think it got that wet.

But I was wrong. It slowly started dying on me for the rest of the night. It didn't look too bad and I really thought it would start working. But later that night, my poor Samsung SGH-A707 passed away. It was a pretty sad night. So I did the last thing I could do. Took the phone, put it right next to a fan, and hoped for the best. But how in the world would a phone come back to life? Well, I guess I'm not always right. The next day I tried it out, and it worked! How a phone comes back to life, I have no clue, but it was AWESOME! I'm just one lucky guy I guess.

Crisis

This picture right here is a picture of a pole in my basement showing my height on February 24, 2008 (ok I know it doesn't seem like much of a crisis now but you'll see where I'm going with this). It's about 5' 9". So the other day I was in the basement with my dad and I was curious to see how much I had grown since then. So I put my back against the board, being pretty excited to see the progress in my growing and then all of a sudden this excitement was interrupted when my dad said, "You're exactly the same."

Exactly the same? I rechecked it one more time and it was the same. I have not grown one bit! I'm still at the same stinkin' height of 5' 9''. It's been about three and a half months, almost four since I last measured myself. I should've grown by then. Is this the end? Or am I hitting a long lull of growing? I don't want to be 5' 9" for the rest of my life! My dad's 6' tall. Am I going to be looking up to my dad forever? I thought I would at least reach his height and grow a little bit more after that. But I haven't even got close! I'm three inches shorter. What is the deal! Well I guess there is nothing I can do about it. Maybe I'll start growing again. If not, I guess I'll just have to live with being short...oh well.

A Burst of Happiness

Since I couldn't find the charger to my ipod (ok not really I just call it that, it's really just a cheap knock-off) I have sadly been without music for the past three months. It was a very sad time (if you want to shed a tear for me please feel free to do so). But yesterday I finally found it and I began to listen to sweet music once again. I couldn't believe how great it was! It was as if the angels began to sing hosana from the heavens above. However I seriously am in need of some new songs. There's a ton of songs I want, the problem is just getting them. But really, if there is anything that I am addicted to in this world, it's my ipod.

Just a little catchup

Once upon a time there was a boy name Sean who decided to read a bunch of the posts that he had missed during the great famine of reading/posting/commenting/all that stuff. One day he read one by Ali called 10 years ago. He then realized that he had been tagged and he said to himself "How rude. I didn't post back." He then posted on it. It went something like this...

10 years ago I was 6 in first grade with Mrs. Jorgensen. I don't remember anything about her except that she was old. I have a very bad memory and I don't remember anything about my first grade except that I went to school and I probably played soccer.

5 things to do today

1. Finish my English
2. Get some grub for my tennis party
3. Eat dinner
4. Just Chill
5. Go to bed cuz I'm pretty tired today

5 snacks that I enjoy

1. Chips and salsa
2. Cup of noodles (I've only had it once but it's my favorite and I desparately need some)
3. apples (that's right)
4. bannas
5. ice cream

What would I do if I was suddenly made a billionaire?

Who really cares. If I was a billionaire I could pretty much buy anything I wanted anytime I wanted to. But if you want to know what I would do first, I would buy a corvette.

5 places I have lived

1. Salt lake city
2. Farmington
3. out on the streets for a year
4. ok jk that's a lie
5. Ya, that's pretty much it.

5 jobs that I have had

1. I landscaped last summer. Awsome but tough
2. I helped take out carpet at someone's house
3. I guess I babysat a few times
4. Chores and getting allowence (don't know if that counts)
5. I'm lifeguarding this summer

5 things you don't know about me

1. I don't like to reveal my deep dark secrets
2. I had a skull fracture when I was 1 and barely escaped death-I'm very lucky
3. Writing posts takes me longer than it should
4. I love seinfield as much as the office (ok some people know that one)
5. I could eat all day

And I don't think anyone hasn't been tagged but your free to do it if you haven't.

Too Much TIME!

Hello it's me again. At the moment I have been more bored than I have ever been this year. I now have absolutely nothing else to do and have resorted to writing something that hopefully will get rid of that. I've always been busy this year doing one thing or another, especially that last couple of months with tennis and preparing for the ap euro test. I have now entered a huge transition from having everything to do, to having nothing to do. The torture is killing me! Anyways I have now posted for two consecutive days-marking the first consecutive two day posting of the year (hurray). But sadly this torture is killing me so much I can't even think of what to write about. Man, I am truly miserable. Sorry, guys. I hope I get out of this prison soon!
